Thanksgiving Greetings

Greetings fellow SD41 DFLers!

Happy Thanksgiving! May your lives be filled with family and friends as we enter the beginning of the Holiday Season. May your home be warm, your stomachs full and the turkey moist as we count the Blessings of Season. As I write this, I look around and see all the blessings in my life. A warm home, healthy family and cuddly cats to keep my lap warm. With the noise and division in the world, what more can we ask for? The demands of life fade when content at home with family.

Being SD41 Chair has brought a number of changes in my routine and a huge learning curve. Thank you to all of you for bearing with my fumbling while I get my bearings. We have a busy few months coming up. The February 3rd caucus will be here before we know it. Eileen Weber is doing a fantastic job getting everything lined up, getting volunteers and scheduling trainings. We need to start thinking about how we can get more people involved in caucus and to attend convention on the 21st. Keep an eye on your emails, details will be coming.

Thank you for putting your confidence in me to steer SD41 forward and make sure our DFL values are expressed in all we do. I will share more updates as we get them. See you on Dec 10 for our next SD meeting.
